In his essay "The Question Concerning Technology" Martin Heidegger uses a Greek term related to "phenomena", apophainesthai, which means "appearing". Phenomena is a 1985 Italian horror film directed by Dario Argento, co-written with Franco Ferrini, and starring Jennifer Connelly, Daria Nicolodi and Donald Pleasence.
